The Brief & Creative Concept
After the viral success of their TikTok hit, 'Ode to Lidl Bakery', Lidl didn't just want to join the Christmas conversation, they wanted us to help them own it.

To cut through the festive noise and drive Lidl Plus downloads, we leaned into Britainโ€™s obsession with Christmas No. 1s. We didn't just make another YouTube video, we dropped a legitimate holiday hit using a custom track featuring an icon of the genre: East 17โ€™s Tony Mortimer.

My role:

Copywriting: Producing the lyrics, talent briefs, production scripts, social copy (organic and paid).

Post Production: Working with editors and designers to cut down the ads into social first assets. Creating an efficient campaign plan on how we would tease, launch and sustain audience interest across TikTok, Meta and earned media.
